Train in the American tradition of acting: the Chubbuck technique and the legacy of the Actors Studio.

The founder

A French actor who also speaks English and Chinese, Christophe has built his career on both sides of the Atlantic and in Asia, from independent film to prestige series.
For nearly ten years he trained with Jack Waltzer, lifetime member of the Actors Studio — himself trained by Adler, Meisner and Strasberg, and teacher of Dustin Hoffman and Sigourney Weaver. Since 2024 he has been studying with Ivana Chubbuck, coach to Halle Berry, Sylvester Stallone, Ryan Gosling and many others. She chose Tek to teach her technique: Arthouse became the first certified Chubbuck studio in Switzerland.
This is the double lineage he passes on today: the depth of the Method and the structure of the Chubbuck technique.

The studio
Arthouse is a creative studio: a safe place where we work in depth and together. Professional and human, for passionate beginners as much as for seasoned professionals looking to deepen their craft. Artistic freedom is earned through work.
Two levels, Introduction & Advanced, in English and French. Everyone works at every class and receives personal feedback.
« The more the world goes digital, the more we need to humanise our relationships. Art is the most powerful way to get there. »
Christophe Tek · Founder & artistic director
The studio’s methodologies
Two complementary lineages. The Actors Studio heritage (Meisner, Adler, Strasberg), passed down directly from Jack Waltzer, enables emotional exploration. The Chubbuck technique, twelve concrete tools for auditions, script analysis, and set work, provides the structure that makes this exploration reproducible at will.
Precise, repeatable tools to turn every role into bold, memorable choices, in service of the story.
Emotional work that is accessible, intentional and effective. You act with real emotions that reflect real stakes.
Self-tapes, international competition, faster shooting schedules: preparation grounded in the reality of today's profession.
